"In the Far East it is said that the living and the dead long ago inhabited the same world. But slowly the dead were more and more powerful, and the survivors were afraid of the overwhelming power of the dead, and with a spell the living detained them in the mirror. They stay there ever since - as they wouldn’t exist at all. But sometimes we see survivors in the mirror and see a dead body behind our own mirror image. At some point, these dead come back through the mirror in our world."
